If you can get past his blue eyebrows, he is a pretty handsome guy and his girls have that intellectual look wearing their becoming glasses and all ;)

As much as I don't like that kind of "intervention" I must admit it's working and his crowning beauty is still intact.
Now that the wound has healed it's pretty obvious they were after one spot which now has a bit of a permanent divot, that makes me feel a bit less bad about the peepers.

Hey! How come we have no more tv shows or movies where attractive women with long hair are hiding behind glasses? Aka Wonder Woman and other 1970's and 1980's tv shows?

None at all, didn't seem to slow them down in any activity accept pecking at the roosters comb.
Eventually I took them off, after the roosters comb healed, I found the look a bit disconcerting and was afraid they may become too embedded.
I think they stayed on for a month.
