BOXER PUPPY UPDATE!

Sorry but for some reason I can't post this on the thread I already have - so posting this Update as a New thread!

I have NOT named her yet!!!!
There has been SO many good names thrown around that I'm stuck!

Our Dog trainer said "STAR" because it looks like a Star on her nose.
Maximus, I can't beleive all the great names you came up with!
( good use of a late evening - LOL )

Hubby plans to name "HIS" Boxer LOKI ( God of mischief )
ARCTURUS in Norse is "the brightest star of Northern Hemisphere,
but seems like a long name.
FREYA is "Lady" ( goddess of love, beauty, war & death in Norse mythology

BUT, then there is also "SUGAR" cause she's sweet,
"BO" cause she's a Ten, or "BRAT" because she gets me up every TWO HOURS!!!!
( I'm sleeping on the Lazy boy downstairs so I can hear her )
Could also name her "KaKa" , "POOPOO" or

....no explanation needed.
Thank goodness she starts dog training Feb 16th

The same thing happened with our Australian / german shepherd.
We hadn't found a name for her, & we were having a barbeque ( steak & shrimp )
Joked about "throwing a shrimp on the Barbi"
And that became her name "BBQ"
The Rotti came 6 months later & we named him "Propane"
(( Must be family thing, my neice has 2 little dogs named POTATO & HANDLEBAR,
& the 2 Pitbulls are named LUNCHBOX & PILLOWPANTS ))

OK, I am going to try REALLY HARD to find a name ASAP!!!!!!!
In the meantime, here is Pics of the "Little PiiP" with no name.
She is barking & grumbling because we put her in the pee pee box.
(she piddled on the floor, so we put pee pads in there.
There is a second Pee pan that she "Could" walk into, IF she wanted.

You have to practice "calling" those names, if you called SUGAR! all sorts of people might show up

Omgawd she is too small to go outside for her business. ( snow is too deep for her little body)

We have never had to house train on pee pads!
She is KILLING US - ha ha ha

Just shovel a small area for her. You'll end up pee training twice if she learns to go in the house. We all know pee training can feel like a lifetime to begin with, but twice? Lol!

'Loki' sure does nudge puppy fever in me. I think Ava is my last puppy tho. She really was an easy puppy but as we age the easier somehow becomes hard lol. I think Ava

ed once in the house and I got terribly upset with her and she peed about
five times in the house. Shamming does wonders for Germans as they are so eager to please. But I was horribly sick within days of getting her and took me months to recover. So it felt like a lot more work then it normally would of been.

Do you already notice her growing? I just want to squish that face!

Whatever you name her, she's still adorable. I see those big puppy dog eyes and that little mouth open complaining about the treatment and think Princess!

Well seein she's a boxer & lives in a box , I kinda lean towards " Boxie" for a name . Luck

2 days without an "accident"....then BOOM, a nice big

on the floor!!!!

Princess LOKI is keeping us hopping, she is veri energetic.
We have made a wood partition, & keep adding boards as she learns how to climb over them.
Today we added the 5th fence board!

BTW, she is eating like cray & gaining some weight.
Can't wait to hear how much she weighs @ the vets next week.

You quilt, have chickens AND boxers? We could be the same person, lol! Loki is so sweet! I have a brindle named Porschia who is going to be 11 in four months, and a tan named Oscar who is still a lot of puppy at a year and a half! They are the best breed in my opinion...but my old one is very old and very smelly these days and is really turning me off lol! We have to do something about her soon, but it is hard to make that decision...
