Here's a picture of one my ameraucana pullets, finally getting the lacing on the blues I want.

Darn pretty. The three I got from you, guessing the same age. Blue rooster and pullet getting the lacing, and the splash pullet is turning out nicely too. Nice birds. Thanks.

Farrier1987. South of Chatham on Lake Erie. Chickens, goats, horse, garden, dog, cat. Worked all over the world. Know a little bit about a lot of things. No incubator, broody hens.

Large fowl, my bantam I've had fairly good lacing for years, the large fowl was a struggle.

I find the lacing on mine is still very sloppy even on the better ones, not very well defined,
and some of them are still way too light, and the combs aren't realy improving at all, it seems at this point I can't realy change anything unless I bring in new sire.

Well I like her lacing, I would certainly use her for breeding but I think you need a new rooster to correct that comb. Lacing is so hard to get, combs not as hard to fix.

I haven't been able to find a good male when I was still looking, at this point I think I have gone as far as I could with these birds, love the hens, the temperament is great, the breed has really grown on me, but since I am not planning to show them or sell hatching eggs anymore, I think I will learn to love the silly combs. :)
