Same here, especially like the part where I am looking at one thinking out loud, boy you look awful, at which point just like "Happy's" girl, she has a good shake and another pile of feathers comes off.
Yesterday 6 eggs from 30 hens, pretty pathetic.
On top of everything they are all grumpy as heck, they must be sensitive to touch as the new feathers come in.
My senior Ameraucana rooster also going thru pretty serious molt, although he doesn't look it, his cage (4'x4') floor is completely covered in feathers.
Thinking of leaving it in for winter insulation

Mine are mostly in various stages of undress as well. Some finishing up, some just starting, some in the middle and some that haven't started yet and are waiting for January, no doubt. Nobody bald yet this year for a change, just some looking like they've been dragged backwards through a burr bush. And holy crap, the feathers! I moved a door that was leaning against the barn wall, and I could've buried 3 birds in the pile that was behind it! Maybe time for an'ugly moult' photo exhibition LOL

My flock blocks were a huge hit. Unfortunately the first one was a huge hit with my chocolate lab...turned my back for 5 minutes and it disappeared. He had a very bad belly that night.
Second one went to the birds today while dogs were inside!
Serious game of "keep away" going on. Good rainy day treat!

Sure here you go. I added a cup of duck grower, cup of sunflower seeds and some leftover Thanksgiving stuffing to substitute the things I didn't have on hand. This one has sat out on the counter a few days to harden up and they did have to work on it.
