Poor Finn just wanted to eat his bone in peace...but these guys wouldn't allow it! He is 13 now and even as a grumpy old man he never even growled at them, just ignored them like the good boy he is!

We have the same 'problem' here all the time. Haha! Chickens are truly secret carnivores

Sheep are just as bad...ours used to mob the guardian dogs when they were fed so the dogs had to eat quick then flee the circling flock!

That didn't hold for bones though, good dog WC to be so patient with them.

Yep, our old dog Hobbes, our beagle/lab mix, was a slow eater in his old age and would sit by his food bowl, guarding it from our other dog Fred. But he'd been around chickens so long he didn't see them anymore. More than once they cleaned his bowl.
