"WHY CAN'T WE COME IN"?!?!?!
This is what I have to look @ every morning....the sad faces of our chickens!
We have 5 Patio sliding doors & they visit every single one of them!
They have already found their way inside a few times.
As we usher them out, they complain bitterly.
Yep goota luv em <3

Very nice, they do seem offended when un-invited from somewhere they had their heart set on!

Be careful, I had one girl who learned to open the patio screen if it wasn't locked tight!

Well we have one screen door with a ripped screen....& no plans to fix it.
It's the screen where the dog & cat come & go as they please.
Even if we were to replace the screen, the dog would walk thru it.
We see the chickens trying to figure out how to get past the flapping screen.
( they see the other animals going thru, but so far they are too Chicken )
The down side is the land mines scattered over the decks.
Always gotta wash them down.
< killerbunny ~ I hope my chickens are NEVER as Smart as yours - LOL >

Thanx Flat Rock Farm!
Our rooster "GRACIE" ( Thank you in Italian ) is a "Cuddle Monkey"
The second you sit down, he jumps on your lap for a pet.
He follows me around until I pick him up...so cute!
He is almost 5 yrs old & the most Gentle & Tame rooster we've ever had.
( he's the 1st one on the deck & calls the girls to join him - LOL )
Here's another patio door they are gathering around!

The one reason I miss my turkeys is when they were out they would all end up on the deck by the kitchen patio door hanging out. Being turkeys they were always too dumb to figure out how to get in but they always seemed content to observe us through the door!
And when we went out, they would jump on your lap or the top bench to peck at your hair or glasses....what silly loveable birds we all have!
