its a straight on my end Sandy.
now thats an interesting firing range eh! to this day those guns are just as accurate as they were back then. quite a few of my buddies have them and one takes a deer every year with one. some models are better than others though the mk4? rings a bell... and man do they ever have a kick!

the Lee Enfield rifles I fired were all 303 so yes they have a very good kick but not as bad as the FN C1 the Canadian army got after the Lee Enfields many a soldier got a black eye from them because they did not hold on tight enough on the firing range.

yes 23+ years with tours in Iraq in 88, Bosnia 98-99 and Afghanistan in 2003.
While on tour lets just say that the prisoners here in jail have more amenities.
the FN C1 was replace in 1988 with the C7 which is a Canadian version of the M16/AR15 Assault rifle
now they are onto the C7 A2 which is very similar to the original C7 but improvements made due to AFG such as Collapsing stock, fold down hand grip on the front stalk, change the Sight from the C69 optical sight to a New Sight.
