Sunday & Ramblings

It was hot. It was humid. But we still enjoyed the day.

Josh and his friend were in the garage by 6:30am working on a piece of machinery and my ATV. ATV is done, machinery needs more work but they got the hoses out. Whatever that means lol. Lou came over and we got my swing put together. Woohoo!
After breakfast and a few chores I came out to cut the grass around noon. OH MY, stinking hot. So I delayed grass cutting.

Got my book out and tested the new swing.

Then after JT's friend left, we all tried the swing.

Then it got breezy so I took advantage of it and cut the grass. Oh man it was hot but I got it done. Came up to have a cold drink, and looks like the cats approve the new swing too.

Then I had my first 'lettuce' from the garden. There is something very rewarding about walking to the garden to get dinner.

Despite the uncomfortable temperatures, it was a great day!
