I dont know about that Happy but for now its okay. LOL. Shes a standard bird and will probably end up around 8lbs or so, so I dont know about that. LOL. No doubt though that she will require some special accommodations after being spoiled as a chick and will somehow need to be acclimated to the flock. we'll cross that bridge when we find it. HAHA

I hear you. Part of what makes it somewhat ok for us to have our little rooster inside is that he's tiny...And I don't know if all banties are like this but their
s are FAR less stinky than my big chickens lol. Anyways she sure looks like she's loving life and I'm glad you and the kids are enjoying her!

Americana's are tricky, I never guess until I see hackle, saddle feathers or they crow before I am 100% sure LOL :wink:

Sorry al...still think its a boy....its a black tailed buff marans x wheaten ameraucana and the black in the wing and breast is usually a boy plus girls feather in faster on their heads....we shall see!!!
