Ha! Drake is busy in a meeting right now (wrestling with Ava) but I can discuss when he's out. Hahah!!
You don't have an older dog to coach the pup?? Your little one is ADORABLE!!! And so micschevious looking.

Drake is absolutely amazing with her. She rolled into our river the other day, steep sides and it's bone dry and she whined trying to get back up. She's a bit of a baby sometimes. Drake did an immediate 360 with her whine and came running to her, went down the river side and showed her how to get up on an angle. She whined but he kept going and so did she. He's one of a kind with pups. Ava would miss him dearly. It's a big reunion every morning when she comes out of her crate.

When she plays, she plays hardcore. When she sleeps it's hardcore. Drake is absolutely perfect with her. (As he was with Cinder as well). Every puppy should go to their new home with a Drake waiting to guide them, cuddle them and play with them.

Some new pictures.

My new pup could use some wise dog guidance. Lol

Sandy
They truly are a blessing
Years ago got a purebred border collie pup
High strung out of this world!
Didn't know what to do about him
We had a 6 yr old GSD at the time also
I was worried about the major size difference so gradually introduced the dogs together
One day I kept chastising the pup
No.... Get out of there..... Come here
To no avail
Not sure if my shepherd got sick of me saying no no no no. Or got sick of the pup
He slowly walked over to the pup. Grabbed it by the back of the neck and just held it there
I could tell by his movement he wasn't being agreesive so I let it go
From that day every time the pup acted up and I chastised it the GSD waited. Almost like counting to 3 then he would go pin the pup down in the same way
I still say if not for him I would have forever been dealing with a super hyper dog
I could take that border collie anywhere
No one could believe he was actually a purebred border. They said they are always so hyper
Soooooo. I totally understand what you are saying about your Drake
Have fun with your pup and her trainer "Drake"

Drake is the most patient boy. He's trying to shred a stick. Ava has a forest to choose from but of course needs to help him with his stick.

Some things apparently never change. She is 4 1/2 months now and just bigger while being obnoxious.

Drake is still the most patient, tolerant boy, but he gets plenty of no Ava time so he can sleep and relax, what he does best. He's over 8 now and although still a puppy at heart he can't keep up all day with a pup.

Ha! Nope not in trouble. I was returning emails but she is always staring at me. After all, she might miss if I move to another room without her. Tragedy!
