Blue Swedish Duckling
A few years ago I bought a grab bag of ducklings of a bunch of different breeds and mixes, and there were several black Swedish in the bunch. They were my favourites, and if I were to ever get more ducks, they'd be top of my list. Muscovies don't technically count as ducks, but they are easier keepers where predators are concerned, and larger carcass for eating, and loads of huge eggs...so I went with muscovies. Yes, they are VERY good mothers. I do miss the daffy ducks though...post lots of pictures as he grows:)
