What a great February 1st, thought I should make a record of it
nothing like the sun shining and all the windows and doors open, Ameraucanas would have been very happy to go outside, Wyandottes not so much

Same here, the ducks, geese and EEs burst outside like their tails were on fire, and the rest hung back and gave me the evil eye. The ground is wet and it's MY FAULT lol

I love being able to open all the windows and doors, even if they can't or will not go outside they get fresh air just as if they are out.
Our place looks like it usually does in April great, yet tiny bit freaky.
Deer are making a hash of my cedar hedges, must admire their systematic "post to post" approach, left side done, right side saved for next full moon? That used to be one continuous hedge, with the rails completely hidden. Sort of forgot they were there.

Yeah, I would be happy to have couple less deer at this point, but the neighbors might object.
Pileated working on this clump of cedars for years, one day the whole thing is just going to come crashing down.
