Same here, the ducks, geese and EEs burst outside like their tails were on fire, and the rest hung back and gave me the evil eye. The ground is wet and it's MY FAULT lol

Omg!...got home mid afternoon and went to the pen and let the girls and Earl out...well, get the $;@&!? out of the way Tom!....it was a stampede...they aren't fond of walking in the snow so this was YEEHAHHH!!! time....hilarious..

I love being able to open all the windows and doors, even if they can't or will not go outside they get fresh air just as if they are out.
Our place looks like it usually does in April great, yet tiny bit freaky.
Deer are making a hash of my cedar hedges, must admire their systematic "post to post" approach, left side done, right side saved for next full moon?

That used to be one continuous hedge, with the rails completely hidden. Sort of forgot they were there. :(

lucky animals you have around your place, domestic and wild. turkeys and deer in your backyard. sounds like a hunters dream. LOL.

Yeah, I would be happy to have couple less deer at this point, but the neighbors might object.
Pileated working on this clump of cedars for years, one day the whole thing is just going to come crashing down.

I put individual solar panel red post lights along the lane to barn 200+ ft when deer hopped corral fence 3 yrs ago . Has stopped im from eating mine & went & devoured neighbors as high up as they could reach . Nice pics OC Luck .
