And we have birdies!!!
still haven't identified the parent, don't want to disturb her while she busy feeding these giant beaks, hopefully will see more of them once they leave the nest.

i have 4 nests of starlings with gaping maws in my barn....lol. HUGE yellow "put the food here" beaks! LOL.

"Chipping Sparrow" is the birdie, finally sat around long enough for me to identify, feeding the young she now stays around for longer then a nanosecond.

They do flit back and forth very quickly, don't they? We had a chipping sparrow in one of our bushes, too. Or it could have been an American Tree Sparrow, but I didn't see the dark patch on its chest. We have both sparrows around our property.
