We lived on Orkney Heights just off Hwy 12 east of the bridge! Left after it got bad with the casino.

Evacuation!!

I hope I didnt cause any nightmares Sandy. the cross orbweaver is what everyone calls bubble butts. they all over. your repeaking my interest in arachnids. I spent a good couple hours last nigbt looking through pricelists. prices seem to be way higher than I remember, I need to get a whole sale price list and see if I can get my hands on some cobalt blues, they are expensive.

On the blackboard you will write "I will not chase girls with worms or other animals." And don't stop until you've done it 100 times!

Hey Baron, they dont have black boards, chalk boards or white boards any more.... they have these stupid smart boards, its all through the computer, so doing lines would be like keyboarding class! not stuck in the library on lunch writting a secret subliminal message to the teacher within the lines. HAHAHA! LOL writting lines is prolly cruel and unusual punishment now a days. these kids are prolly some of the last ones who will use paper in school, they have allready removed cursive from the curriculum. next will be the books. and when the plug gets yanked no one will know what to do or how to write a letter.

What is going to happen to the kids who just don't have the cash for all the technology?
Interestingly there was a Summer Camp for cursive and calligraphy in Hamilton this year because there's a resurgence.

aint that the truth KB! we still homeschool even though the kids are in public school. its the only way they will actually learn everything they need to. we have a cursive poster and our kids are learning it. at least they will be able to sign their name. actually there is an old school teacher at the kids school still teaching it, shes a very nice lady.

Thankfully no nightmares. I was too tired by the time my head hit the pillow.

It's weird. As a kid I let anything crawl in me, spiders etc. But somewhere I became mortified of them. I can not tell you how many spiders are in my central vac over the years. I can't even bring myself to kill them by hand in case I miss. Maybe it's me, but when it rains the spiders come out from every corner!! I vacuumed up one yesterday in my office that was big enough to eat a duckling. Ok, maybe not a duckling, but a chick for sure.

Some of these jet back furry ones we get are HUGE!

You know what I hate? Water snakes and water bugs. You know the bugs that scoot across the top of the water? Eeeek!!!
