That was a funny video  I love Tofu... But I also love turkey with cranberry sauce... We had a person visit from the Philippines and he was looking at our first Lab Casey like she was filet mignon. He said black dogs like this taste really good. Well I thought it was an odd thing to say so I said have you eaten a black dog like this? He said yes we eat dogs in the Philippines. He said you can't leave your dog unattended or someone will steal it and eat it. This was 40 years ago.

Just a different culture. We have eaten horse in Europe and it was great but you get a sideways look here. People don't understand that in the Pyrenees they aren't driving the ponies down to be pets. Mind you over there it's a different market because it isn't the sick horses at meat auction but well looked after ones. ANyway hope nobody is offended.

My mom grew up in Taiwan and she won't eat beef. She was brought up to think of a cow as a working animal similar to a horse and dog so out of respect it should be buried and not eaten. I guess the thought of eating beef ruins her appetite so she would rather eat chicken, pork, etc. She cooked beef for us though.
