Cold Wethers Coming

Post by Farrier1987 » Sun Nov 24, 2019 9:58 am

A wether is a castrated goat. Aword that derives from wether is bellwether. Goatherds attach a bell to the lead animal and call it a bellwether. The word now describes anyone who leads as in an election certain bellwether ridings indicate which direction the country will go.
