I worked a ranch in Alberta where the owner a German Baron brought a guard dog in that only understood German no English . Vicious bugger was a little hairy at times if loose .

Funny, that reminds me, I trained our first dog in Canada in other then English language, and one day a neighbor came over for coffee and mentioned how amazed she was the Dog understood that language, when she (the neighbor) wasn't able to

Knew a fella once who used the regular commands for different things .
ie sit ment down rollover ment shake come ment sit etc . Easy for dog , confusion for most folks . Lol
