Lol ive seen that a few times circling around FB. Fake news!

When I told my mother that Little was hatching eggs from other hens she exclaimed “oh wow will she actually feed them if they're not hers?" I paused for a long while and said "mom chickens don't really have breasts like that you know..."
She said "well I didn't mean FEED like THAT!" Whew...you just never know.

yep...some people... my wife the good Rev Carla is a minister in South Ottawa....in the pulpit this Sunday so she told the story of meeting a mink in the barn killing chickens....she came into the house and said "Bert get the gun...." with those words the congregation went silent...

well hello? whaddaya think we do on the farm? we have guns...and on occasion we use them...

one old feller...ex military...said to the good reverend after the service "never apologise for having a gun in the closet"

I'm glad. If someone had posted that in all seriousness, I would probably have lost all hope for our species!

Oh I believe its true, when they still used horses for war army personal were to look after their own mounts .One major couldn't understand why some were in such bad shape when he inquired as to what they were feeding the horses he found out they were trying to feed them meat. They had no idea what a horse ate had never been around horses before. This is documented in the accounts of war of one army major.
