The old rooster.
One farmer remarked to the other "you must have the oldest rooster around". The second farmer replied that it was probably about twelve to fifteen years old. The first farmer asked why was he keeping it all this time since he had no hens and the old fellow hadn't crowed in years. The second farmer went on to explain that many many years ago when the rooster was young and rambunctious, it chased his mother-in-law, causing her to scream at the farmer in a rage, "I swear I'm never setting foot on this farm again as long as that stupid bird lives"!
