SIster marches up with the 2 babies in tow and stands in front of me telling me what she requires and how I am deficient in something (e.g. substandard treat) She then turns to the babies to point out how I am to be handled for the future!

The fact that you refer to her as "Sister" says it all.

Of course they are, suddenly we aren't just a giant scary thing, we are just another giant chicken who speaks their language. :hi5:

I have a little cockerel that jumps into my hands and tells me stories about how he hates chickens and just wants to be a person. Once I start talking back to him, telling lies about woodstove heat and unlimited treats, he quiets and has a nap in my arms :/

Talking of speaking their language, I tried some chicken talk on my girls. They were MOST interested and wanted to know more, but I only have a limited clucking repertoire :(
