Three wise men

Some of the older folks, used to mark this time as when the three wise men came bring gifts, soooooo.
During the Christmas holidays, a Canadian man was traveling through the South in bible belt territory and noticed an odd thing. Many people had a nativity scene on their front lawn and the three wise men were all wearing fireman helmets. Finally one day while in a small store, he asked the lady behind the counter what it meant. She answered angrily "what's wrong with y'all, don't ya know yer bible"? The man replied that he did indeed know his bible and there was nothing in it about firemen hats. The woman slammed down a bible, opened the pages and rudely pointed out a passage. "See, lookie here, it says clearly that the three wise men came from afar".
