Oh, dear, that's sort of become my biography. Except for the baling twine--I hate that plastic stuff with a purple passion. Non-biodegradable, not recyclable, and it keeps showing up like a bad penny. Throw it in the garbage, and next thing you know it's somehow halfway across the field and a cow is chewing on it. Can't find sisal stuff anymore.
Fencing wire. Fencing wire is the stuff everything is held together with.

Jan...i agree with you..i get manure from a farmer down the road for my garden and it always has blue poly twine in it...plays hell with my tiller tines...clogs things up quick...however, you can get sisal twine readily enough, its just more than twice the price...as always, follow the money...

I absolutely detest that plastic poly twine!!!!! and plastic bale wrap....especially when it's wrapped one turn INTO the big round....so then i have to pull a whole sheet off the bale just to get the darned stuff off so the horses don't eat it. must admit, we incinerate it, otherwise we find it EVERYWHERE and it's wrapped around a chicken leg, or the dog is trying to eat it, or the cat is tangled in it....i've had birds try to make nests out of it....nasty stuff.

yep, had to hose down the back of the truck last night so people could see my brake lights again. i don't waste the time washing the truck...figure eventually the dirt will be holding the paint on anyways.

what's very funny is when someone has been working outside with sunglasses and t-shirt on..tan lines and coon eyes LOL. not to mention tan lines from your wedding band? yup. LOL

Feeding cows in Alberta we would roll round bales down a hill to unravel so cows could eat . In one such bale there was twine from start to finish thru the bale . Quite the job getting it all out with cows fighting one another in snow to feed . Kept the cowdogs & me real busy . Luck
