One of my favourite ads! I laugh every time I see it (the original that is. ) And I love the russian one that spoofs Ladas- if you have ever ridden in one you'll get the joke (and the cats don't seem to mind)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OH48XNC6Mqs
(the translation at the end is: Lada- we don't need foreign)

Hah, 1992 Lada Samara, brand new $5500. Drove it 252,000 km's (engine ran fine, the body not worth fixing). 1.3L engine, 65hp, 0-60 in 20 seconds
Better than the One and only Ford I owned, a 1994 Tempo.

Ha! Ha, ! Liked the original ad the best, seemed more posh better put together, cats don't do it, those girls have rhythm, the cats not so much. Even the second batch of chickens not so much.

LOL we briefly thought about buying a couple of Nivas, one for using, one for parts. Briefly.
0-60 in 20 seconds???? going off a cliff maybe ha haa! The only thing about Ladas, they were far, far better than Trabants. I guess those never made it here.
oops off topic again!- Well sort of, we are talking about cars!
