My wife wanted 10 chicks.
Got 2 extra "packing peanuts". So started with 12.
Now I am carrying 5 bags of feed every week, 3 coops and a loft in the barn and turkey pens later..... even hosting a chicken forum....

:dunno:

Yup Kathy, I just got s**t for carrying in the feed "because you might make your knee worse" I told hubby that this was just one of those "daily life tasks" the dumb nurse didn't understand LOL .

Our feed comes in 40 kg bags, so anytime hubby or anyone wants to carry them for me I am more then happy to let em. The older I get the heavier everything seems.

I don't carry the 40kg anymore. I empty into large food grade buckets right from the car. Much easier to care those 2 at a time.
