What could possibly go wrong?
Japanese beetles? Why they'll only eat what we want them to eat.
Cane toads in Australia? They won't run loose and decimate native animals, they'll only eat the bugs attacking our sugar cane.
Pythons escaping their enclosure and going wild in the everglades? Trust us, that won't happen.
Asian carp? They won't escape these ponds.
Purple loosestrife? Its a beautiful plant, it won't go anywhere!
Thalidimide? Why of course its safe for pregnant women!

Diligently follow the path of two swords as one. Percieve that which the eye cannot see. Seek the truth in all things. Do not engage in useless activity.

We use to have a cat that would catch mice and bring them into the bedroom for us.
One day while I was in Afghanistan the wife felt him jump up on the bed and then he was pouncing all around.
She quickly figured out he hadn't killed the mouse yet when he brought it to her and it got away from him.

Next day he came in with another and left it for her on her chest. After that the door was closed so he had to leave them in the hall.
