Sorta funny but sad!
Re: Sorta funny but sad!
I'm happy to cut Canada Post some slack. My real issue is that they are using the pandemic as justification for their lack of ability to simply do their jobs. Way before the pandemic started I was ordering shipped eggs from BC. The first order was late so I got a refund on my shipping cost. So what the heck, I ordered more since now it's 'free shipping'.....so to speak. I ordered about 6 sets of eggs and only paid for shipping once. Like I said, they just need to do their jobs.

@Kbr42 soooooo I like the justification.
Our postie guy is great and very helpful, it's just the organisation that is an issue.

Re: Sorta funny but sad!
I have one that's more funny then sad.
This is a notification I got from the Post Office..
******************************************************************
We received shipment details for your parcel
Your shipment details have been received from NORTHLAND FULFILLMENT and a shipping label has been created. Your parcel will be shipped as soon as it’s available.
******************************************************************
so I am taking this as too much information, they have made up a label and as soon as they get the parcel to go with it they will send it??????

Re: Sorta funny but sad!
My package from BC FINALLY arrived. 4 days after i was issued a refund because they couldn't ship. so now i'm thinking it wasn't the post office but the shipper....?? i have no clue. oh well. This one also said "shipping label created" and never was updated to say anything about shipped, or picked up or any delivery information at all!
So maybe it has already shipped OC....mine never updated to say anything at all until it turned up almost 3 weeks later than promised-and even after it was cancelled and refunded.....

Re: Sorta funny but sad!
mine arrived on 23rd right after I got an e-mail telling me it will be shipped on 21st, that e-mail arrived on 23rd.....
in total this shipment has gathered 12 e-mails for a shipment of a dog raincoat that is made in Toronto :)
BTW I don't really think dog needs a raincoat, but a white puppy in the snow in the bush, it seems to be able to disappear, so orange raincoat was needed

Yesterday I got a shipping Email saying that my parcel was picked up by Canada Post at 10:33 on 29th December. I had to look at that few times LOL!

Well three weeks to the day to receive a small package in the mail from Sainte-Julie QC to Cambridge, ON. Should have just drove there and back in less than 24 hours

I have received notice # 4 from Amazon that the package I ordered and was expected to arrive on January 28, is going to be late, possibly on January 19 the latest.
Amazon is starting to come across a bit unhinged...
