I lost a tarantula in my parents house when I was 12, couldnt find it for 3 weeks, my sister found it one day, LOL. That was how my mom found out I had it HAHA. Dad thought it was cool.

I havent stepped in any cat puke in a while YUK!
I had newts as a young one. I lost them a few times. My mom got rid of them. I'm totally cool with lizards, frogs, SMALL snakes (in the distance) but spiders and I are not friends.

yup... tarantula moulted... they can't move when this happens and well the cricket took full advantage of the situation. the cricket was immediately fed to a chameleon.

:running-chicken: right on, and My "city" cousin thought i was weird as a kid 'cause every time he came over I had a different critter to show him. Mine were more aquatic: frogs, crayfish, dragonfly nymphs, goldfish, guppies, etc. Anything that eats mosquitoes is a friend of mine!

Too bad todays kids don't get their hands dirty like we did.

Ps. I am on the northern limit of the range for the praying mantis. I've seen three in my life... And two were last year... So cool!

I could always make my husband gag when I went to clean up cat or dog puke by just saying. Oh it's still nice and warm. Lol
He would get up before me and would cover up with a paper towel any accidents. Very weak stomach
I once offered him $100.00 if he could clean up the dog poop in the yard. With a shovel.
You guessed it. Couldn't do it

Thankfully hubby will clean it up, but does have a weaker stomach than I and if it's of a "certain" consistently I can hear him choking it back. He will also help clean up the dog poop too so can't complain. I know my brother-in-law with my niece and nephew would gag BIG time each time they had a poppy diaper and had to change them.

Speaking of Mosquitos. We now are genetically engineering them. http://www.healthmap.org/site/diseaseda ... arms-71812
