OK. So I just posted a question on genetics. Reminds me of one my dad used to tell.
Out on the savannas of Africa was a school teacher. The only white man for miles. And a white baby is born. So the chief takes him aside and has a talk with him.
"Now, we may not know a lot about reading and writing and arithmetic, but we know what causes white babies."
So the teacher says "No, no, no, there can be so many reasons. Have you ever heard of genetics?"
The chief says, "Look, we know you're smart. You know lots of stuff, but we KNOW what causes white babies."
"No, its genetics. It could be back 20 generations, and then something like this comes along as a complete surprise. Just look out in the pasture at all your sheep. Two hundred of them are white, but there is one black one, Its genetics."
The chief gets a worried look on his face, kind of stutters and looks down and says "OK, OK. You don't say anything about the sheep, and I wont say anything about the baby."
