I made this today as a low-key suggestion... But I think its describes us pretty good!!
If you google someecards you can create these. Feel free to add any that you think are relevant to PTO!

PTO-Related Ecards

Could you please explain a bit more what your idea is?
I like anything that gets the word out that we exist.
Looks like this is one of them... Just not sure what exactly/roughly you had in mind.

Sure, so these things are all over the internet. You can create them for free, and I made a PTO related, Mount Forest thing. It was initially a way to ask "Is it time yet to start the Official Mount Forest Sale thread for the upcoming sale in April?" But it could totally be a way to get PTO out there.

What I thought people could do was create ecards about quirks that PTO users have (good ones of course!) and just characteristics of chickens/chicken-people in general.
i.e. "You say I'm crazy for building a chicken coop in my backyard? You're right. I should've built two."
If we could get people to put ~PTO or ~Poultry Talk Ontario at the bottom, someone's (my) facebook would find them eventually. I thought it might be cool to create a gallery of them all the ones that members created, and we also could possibly photoshop PTO or Poultry Talk Ontario on - because there's very limited space in them. I'll have to re-check the terms of agreement...

I am looking forward to a Mount Forest thread. I am still trying to learn how to use this new site. I love it and I am grateful to have it, but I don't know how to start a thread, yet. I can shovel poop and gut a chicken, but technology is a struggle :)

Ah, @goatgal35 that is very, very easy!
go to the location where you want it. So in your case: PTO index -> Sales, Shows, and Events -> Sales
And you should see a button near the top left of the screen that says: "New Topic"
Click it and you are good to go.
The screen you see then is the same as the one for "Post Reply"
