A couple of days ago, we moved the keets into a coop that has a small pen attached. They spent more than a day up on the roost, but today we heard them pecking away at the food. That is a good sign. The young chickens and Rustic Rangers that also had access to the coop are outside in the pen. In good time, we'll open the partition so they can all mingle.
Unfortunately, while moving the keets, one escaped and ran across the yard and driveway. I found it under the front deck, but later, I think the hens scared it away. We have not found it, and it has not been seen.
