You would think I would learn after the chickens! It's ok. I'm moving into the new house soon. I'm doing this for science!

Elusive Einstein is still free. I have a hand knit thick wool sweater hanging in my closet that has a few holes (about 40 mm in Diameter)? Is this Einstein or is it a wool eating insect? Moth? My friend knitted the sweater for me.
Have a sunwonderful day!

I think you are dealing with moths eating your sweater rather than Einstein. Have you situated your trap in a corner or along a wall rather than out in the open? Mice and rats tend to travel along the perimeters of rooms mostly.

Re: Good Morning - 2023
Well I just had a chat on the phone with my previously unknown "grandson". It was hilarious and he wasn't doing well, needed help etc. VERY foreign accent too (not trying to be racist here). Anyway he asked me what I was doing and when I told him I was chatting to an idiot pretending to be my grandson he got very upset at me for wasting his time LOL. I told him to have a nice day and he hung up!

DH got that call too, I find it funny anybody would actually fall for it, but then I though Nobody would possibly fall for the "Pigeon King"
sales pitch either, so what do I know ?

'Pigeon King International sold breeding pigeons to investors, particularly Mennonite farmers (because of their reluctance to go to the authorities), in return for promising to buy any offspring at a fixed price for ten years.' I find a Pidgeon Ponzi scheme unbelievable but the system is the same get someone to pay someone else... Get out quick before the house of cards collapses...but in this case the pidgeon king was arrested...

I have tried 4 types of live traps and two die traps and Einstein is still alive. So I hope and I pray that he/she stays in this house! I will now try cheese. Maybe Einstein likes cheese. And the irresistable gel bait is definitely resistable.
Also I figured out a way that's kinda easy to catch mice a few months ago... So I was scooping up a cup of dog food and something moved in the dog food bag. Well 2 little grey mice were inside the bag...this will not work on Einstein... So. Make that 5 live traps
