https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7152007/ WARNING: There are some photos of sick chickens that some might find disturbing. A general overview, but experienced poultry enthusiasts may still learn a thing or two.

Wow! What a lot of information. I didn't read it from beginning to end, but did skim.

I did like the round perch thing. I did like the metal cage to break broodiness. I did like all the stuff on incubation that I don't have to worry about because I rely on the broody hens.

Farrier1987. South of Chatham on Lake Erie. Chickens, goats, horse, garden, dog, cat. Worked all over the world. Know a little bit about a lot of things. No incubator, broody hens.

Maybe the astro turf around the roost is a bad idea because the chickens might eat it and get sick? Turf stuck in crop?
