It's a shame the rain didn't make it out a bit farther to Brockville and Kingston area. I'm sure everyone could use some rain after the hot days we've had, and 4.7" in 2 days is more than we really needed at once. Our (4) rain barrels were overflowing just after the first half day of precipitation; they were pretty much empty beforehand.

Yup Brebis, the rain missed us and the dark clouds carried on to Ottawa/Gatineau or somewhere ELSE :(. The garden didn't get much of a drink and there's no more rain in the forecast for a week :(.

I don't believe how local it was, although the deluge we got certainly felt like we were getting ours and somebody else rainfall at the same time

So I found a dead snake in the coop. Then I Googled "Do chickens eat snakes?" then I saw this photo :-o

Just had an encounter with another "wetland Neighbor" who wanted an access to our property, started as a pleasant person conversation and ended up me sounding like a "fish wife" so like @Happy says, pretty much tired of everybody's poop
