Re: Aggressive rooster
My old Cochin rooster was nothing but sweet with the girls that he felt were "his". And nothing but a rapist with the other girls that were there before him and refused to recognize his authority. After I separated them and gave them each their own coop space he was fine-even while free-ranging with the others. Its almost like it defined his role for him.

If you don't plant the tree, you will never have the fruit...
Re: Aggressive rooster
He's in with the girls now and is great, he dances for them ,shows them choice tidbits. No more raping.
I put him by himself but able to see the girls through wire, and that seemed to cure him of his nastiness. Now we will see what he produces.
