Things you are grateful for at the end of 2020

Post by Ontario Chick » Sun Dec 27, 2020 8:30 am

I know this might be pushing it a bit, and the subject read something different to begin with ;)
but plenty of negativity around and @ross post made me think of all the people who manage under even the most difficult circumstances.

On personal level, grateful that my family and extended family is healthy !!!
Grateful for people who stepped up to make our lives easier this past year.
Grateful for people who purchased our birds, the flock dispersal this past spring was made easier knowing they went to good places.
Grateful for the place we live and the good food we have access to.
And most of all grateful for people who go to work every day and do their job to the best of their ability in these stressful times.

Really glad we made the move to a rural location 13 years ago.

Thankful for staying healthy from covid 19. Thankful for a DH that could do things and would do things for me when i could not. Thankful for having a job that wasn't gone. Thankful that i didn't need gov help to get through this year. thankful that we paid off all our debts. Very happy that we live rurally! Also very thankful that I have self taught myself over the years how to grow things, harvest and store things, and how to be very self sufficient. And also thankful for amazing friends and living in an era where i can just log onto a computer/get on the phone and get in touch with them!

Very happy (and thankful) that we are rural with a big garden too! Can't imagine being in lockdown when I was still working, and living in a townhouse!
