Happy Holidays...Merry Santa
Going to be a different season for most of us. I know we will be missing a lot of family for our Santa magic...some will have to wait for a whole year. Burr is on it....he keeps the chimney well guarded...at least, when he is awake LOL. Have a good week! We’ll be toasting in the new year...with hopes of drowning out the old and giving the new one a good Irish blessing....I’ll work on sobering up when I get vaccinated

Thanks @Epona ...needed that smile at the end
...wishing everyone all the best for the holiday season, no matter how you manage to celebrate ... about the only thing that won't be happening this year is my folks are staying home and not coming for dinner so MJ and I are dropping by today with gifts and a tortierre for them. We always have a tortierre meal on Christmas eve and MJ makes a fabulous one. So party as best you can and much love from our home to yours.

We'll join you in the Irish blessing but only if you'll join us in Hogmanay traditions!

Re: Happy Holidays...Merry Santa
I was just watching a TVO programme about Traditions and in Georgian times there was a game called Snapdragons which I believe everyone should play and make a family tradition!
Here are the instructions
Put a load of currants in bowl and cover with brandy. Set fire to the brandy. Players must now try to grab currant from the flaming bowl and the winner is the player who grabs the most currants.
What could go wrong?????

That sounds like a great reward for people who wear masks under their nose that @windwalkingwolf mentioned .....
Our Christmas Day started with a bang, or rather a whimper from the sump pump, apparently the hose going out froze, so pump pumping and water rising, just what one wants to see at 7am Christmas Day, or any day really
