Thanksgiving Turkey Project

Wanted to try my hand at raising turkeys for the dinner table, putting them on grass has saved a lot of feed trough is still more than 60% full, they've been outside for 3 weeks now, next year will run a batch of meat chickens through it to help pay for the new cackelac shelter, in my mind it's well worth the price tag easy to build and move by myself, has press in anchors so it won't blow away.

You will notice a huge difference in flavour by running them on grass too and a firm textured meat. I run my BSWs in a paddock and under a hoop house. Take longer to grow out but worth it.

Yes, it's on wheels the 2 on the backside are fixed and the 2 on the front where the door is are on castor's very lightweight I'm sure my son whose 6 and skinnier than a twig can push it around, handles on the wheels to lift/lower the unit

Has side curtains that roll up and down, I'll take more pictures of it in the morning when I check on them

Looks great, is it safe enough from predators?

It looks great! I'd love one for my six chickens and I'm really sad that Cackellec boasts that their 8x10 shelter can house 30-40 chickens
