Yes, I miss all the swallows. I love watching them swoop above the sheep as they graze, I assume catching the bugs disturbed as they walk about.

After supper, I saw this Mallard hen walk out of my pasture, across the driveway, and over to the dugout with her 8 ducklings. She must have been well hidden. The coyotes hunt in the pasture a lot, and there are several horned owls here often.
