young 'uns start'n to lay

Post by KimChick » Thu Mar 26, 2020 1:34 pm

Our young Rhode Island Reds are starting to lay! I found one junior sized egg on the ground yesterday.
So out came the golf balls to be placed in each nesting box. Hopefully, they get the hint!

Farrier, where is your mind at? Sheesh!
The golf balls that I put in the laying boxes are working! Then again, they do have the older hens as good models.
