Our friend who is in a retirement community went out and got his supplies - 4 bottles of gin and one of Drambuie. He figures he won't care how he feels then! BTW he is a Minister and a hell of a chap.

Well Good day eh! Yeeha this will be fun! Carla is a church minister and they just ended a meeting and decided to stop services a few weeks. Other folks in the meeting - nurses - said the USA is ground zero as people have to pay to go to doctor or get tested - and the folks in retail/public services get lower pay and no benefits and they fear the near future paychecks so definitely won't pay to get tested and will show up to work. So this will be bad before it gets better. My mom is coming from Florida on Tuesday so she will be exposed. And I have lung issues - I get cold I get a lung infection - yeeha. Thanks Cathy for your update.

I have toilet paper for a week, no more because toilet paper is a convenience, not a necessity
I love this particular statement. Not just TP but so very many things in our society people take for granted are luxuries, not necessities. One of the reasons I like this forum is that most here have some recognition for that. And it isn't that this group will be the only survivors, we will just be the last to be mortally threatened.

My sister, when we were hiking, would talk about using the drip dry setting.

This properly belong in humour, but is directly related to the Corona, so I thought I would post it here.

Warning: This contains strong language and may not be suitable for all viewers. (They say there is a family rated version too, I am going to search for it.)
