so rumour has it they are going to be looking for -80 storage in research labs. which is fine. we can usually fit several 1000 doses in a small corner if needed. however as a scientist and molecular biologist myself why dont they lyophilize the RNA vaccine...and ship on wet ice. heck my RNA i get made and shipped for use in the lab is lyophilized and shipped room temperature. i seriously doubt this needs -80 storage! i think its more a question that RNA just has always been done that way....or the transfection reagent in it needs the cold...but thats a different story altogether. i would love to see them try a batch lyophilized at rt for 2 weeks. i bet it would work.

Ack I don't want it but will likely be made to have it through work. I don't trust anything that has been approved that quickly, I say make all the politicians take it first, let them be the guinea pigs!

Yes @kenya I remember the hasty approvals in 2009 and the refusal to acknowedge the bad batches that were made with the SEs!

I wouldn’t worry by time Canadians get it it will have been used on Americans & Europe so we will see reactions plus All frontline workers will get it first Drs , nurses , Ems , politicians , etc . Not necessarily in that order but again time to see reactions before the tax payer peons get it . JMO
But I’m old & getting more cranky by the day .
Remember I believe in you but I also believe in Bigfoot . Peace & love ❤️

Why would you NOT believe in Bigfoot @ross ? There's a lot of unknown out there despite us thinking we're so clever! Somebody tried once to tell me they'd shot the Easter Bunny but I don't believe them.

Well I know they didn't shoot the Easter Bunny because I see him/her all the time!
