OK, so I heard from the WaywardWobegoneWolf. I had sent her a couple of PM's that stayed in my ourbox for weeks.
I had explained to her how I use the carrot and stick method, and that I was pretty much out of carrots. This, combined with several other cajolement got her to finally answer.
Following is a direct quote from her PM:
"Oh Colin, you shitpicking goat lover, what would I do without you? I love the way your mind works."
Now I take expectation to some of her categorizations. To wit:
1. She is making groundless assumptions that my mind actually works.
2. As far as shitpicking goes, I only do that to make my garden grow better. No one has ever caught me parsing and tasting it like the chickens do.
3. Goat lover? I refuse to comit one way or the other. No one has ever come forward with pictures, and until they do, I refuse to comment.
4. As to what she will do without me, I believe she is going to have a go at it, might work, might not.
From her overall communication, I am led to believe that she is on her way back to us. She is under the impression that I am a real wit. Well, she is probably half right.
I think her overall prognosis is good, although we might expect a prolapse or two along the way. And we shall welcome her back heartily and pretend the wench was never absent. (Notice I did not use the B word, which would be the correct reference to a female wolf. Considerate Colin they call me. And other things.)
I look forward to seeing her back.
