OC, it's great that you got the pup to replace the chickens. You'll be able to give thanks that you don't have to go feed and water chickens in brutally cold weather. A (toilet trained) puppy will be SO much easier :).

Everyone here has seen the cute pictures of the goats jumping up on the horse. Isnt that cute? Well let me tell you, bent over sorting rotten onions and one jumps up on your back, the bastards arent so cute then.

When I was a kid my goat Dinamite jumped onto my Mom's back when she bent over to pick something up, she ended up sprawled on the barn floor face down in . She was not amused!

Had to wash one of the silkie girls today. Nothing like the smell of wet chicken. Yuck. Now I need a shower and clean cloths. She was good but I still ended up smelly!
