Yet another pet peeve!

Post by Killerbunny » Mon Dec 30, 2019 2:49 pm

Ok so why are all the Newsies etc. going on about the end of the decade? Last I checked that will be at the end of 2020? :dunno:

Oh that annoys me too KB. I guess there is no news so they have to do it all now with archive stuff, and then bore us some more with the same thing in the new year. It's surprising that anyone bothers to watch the news anymore! They cannot be bothered to brave the cold to bring us any real news. Bah Humbug!

It's probably all done to distract us all from real issues! There's my conspiracy theory kicking in again.

It really doesn't matter. Just be sure to wear your tinfoil hat and all will be well.

I would like to add weights and measures, to a pet peeve column, I must stop reading weather reports and random multiplications, where it has become clearly obvious people have abandoned the pounds and inches and never quite mastered the metric system and never mind the generation that has been protected from the mindless multiplication tables and now can't manage the basic math, so even with a help of hight tech devices it's still garbage in and garbage out.
Boy I am getting grumpy in my old age ;)
