tint on ankles and feet

A couple of my barred rock roosters (they're almost 20 weeks old) have a pinkish-red tinge to their ankles and feet. Does anyone know why this is?

I have noticed that my rooster , when they have a lot of hormones, their feet and most of their legs are bright red. At least my guy, Oliver's are. I'd bet they are just growing up

No kidding!? Well, that's OK, then!
I'm trying to choose which 2 of the three to keep for the 19 hens.
But I noticed yesterday how much bigger the barred rock roosters are than the RSL hens. They are pretty big birds.

I was thinking of keeping the barred rock roosters that have the darkest red and nicest combs and wattles, And temperament.

I've found bigger Rooster can work well with smaller hens. My Olive Eggers is very big. He mates with my banty's and they are no worst for it. They never loose back feathers. Good luck in choosing.

Of the three, there are two that hang around together, so I would tend to keep those two.
