Hi, does anyone know if it will damage the motor if I store my incubator outside (in unheated shed) over the winter?
Or my brooder plates?

I don't know, honestly, about the incubator, but I don't think you will have an issue with your brooder plates.

It should be fine provided that you blow the dust out of it fully and that it is critter proof-mice outside love to chew wiring and if your incubator is wood, fiberboard or something like that, they will likely go to town on it. So i would suggest if you can to put it inside something chew proof....the cold itself shouldn't hurt it. just make sure it's totally out of the rain/snow and up off the ground in case things flood in a thaw. If it has any hard plastic water trays i would leave those inside the house, or a cold storage room. plastic can crack in the cold....

If it's styrofoam, make sure birds can't get at it! Even tiny wild birds think styrofoam is delicious
