currently have 34 eggs under broody hens

In hindsite, a dozen is too many for my girls, as I see eggs peaking out all the time, so Im not expecting a full hatch from those 2 girls. But the one I gave 10 to is covering them nicely, though I had to give her some older eggs (dated back to the 15th) cause they all went broody at once. The next 3 weeks is going to be full of little blue, black, and splash Ameraucana babies!!

Im sure he wont be THAT mad..and I do have the space. Besides, they are all the same colours so I can just tell him hes seeing things

Well I'm not one to judge. I currently have 26 baby turkeys running around and that is after the ones I sold. Mine are all white and I'm sure my DH can't tell them apart!

I hatched 15 black babies this spring....drove me nuts trying to keep track of them! Lots of fun! Best if luck on your hatches.

I hatched over 100 silkie chicks and also some Ameraucana chicks, my husband just noticed yesterday. Ha! Ha! Ha!
I've already sold half of them, I wouldn't worry too much your husband is probably just like mine.

11 chicks, 20 more eggs to go this weekend (1 egg MIA, 2 broken) . This first time mama is a great mama!
