Red lace Blue EE roo

Post by Farrier1987 » Tue Jul 09, 2019 12:01 pm

This is a guy that hatched last fall here. From one of the hens I got from Kenya a couple years ago I would think.

Is he unusual colours, or only to me? His name is Lazarus, (dog got him at about a month old and was playing with him, thought he was dead, hence the name) and he is my herd sire right now.

And I don't show or plan to, but for those that do, how is this guy for conformation and stuff. I might have called him something other than EE, Ameri-something but I am not sure of the spelling and don't want to get my knuckles wrapped.

He is a blue wheaten ameraucana.
His chest colouring should be more laced, his is kind of blotchy, his red colour should be darker, his is kind of brassy. His comb is a bit big, he has a nice beard.
Heres mine by comparison, mine is by no means perfect, the girls have been picking his beard.
