There is a bowl available for parrot cages I find very useful available in pet stores.
Screws on to the metal prongs of crate and the actual bowl can be removed for cleaning
another version just slides on to the crate.
I use plastic cup with a long spout to fill from outside.
this is the slide on one, cheeper and good for feed, but freezes and cracks in winter when used for water.

This the screw on type, very useful even in winter.

I use plastic chip dip or cottage cheese containers, the ones that are a bit flexible, for food or water. I put two holes in the side using a screw, then put a piece of wire through the holes from the inside. I put the dish inside the cage and put the wires through and twist them.

You can screw a nipple waterer into the top of a water bottle and hang it upside down on the side of the cage. Or the cup type ones where the chicken pecks on a lever that fills the cup. Amazon sells both in various size packs. Cheap.
