We have all energy effiecient bulbs that are off for the most part... we do all the things to conserve energy... have energy effiecient appliances... 4 bedroom farm house thats been drastically updated... 1 shop and its only 15×20 and dosent have machines running constantly... heck most of the tools I use are battery operated!!!! 1 40 watt fluorescent in the coop, NO electricity in the BARN, no well to constantly pump although there is one we have city water. no sump pump constantly running although there needs to be one... the one there needs to be looked at... HOWEVER ITS NOT PLUGGED IN!!! I just check it and pump it out every couple days.

well Lizzie got off the phone and nothing has changed... our first bill was an estimate.... and this one was measured.... I sure as hell dont understand how thats possible. im very upset to say the least.
so does everyone else pay $500+/month on hydro?
our old place had alot more electricity used and we payed waaaay less... well pump, sump pump, 2 freezers, barn, garage, AND A DAMN STREET LIGHT in the back yard!!!!!!!!!
i dont get it. may have to get an electrician over here and make sure electricity isnt being used some way im not aware of.
